The purchase of a go-cart for my two kids turned into a nightmare. Upon picking up the finally product they brought out a machine that was only thrown together. Not only was it missing seatbelts, when they brought them out to put them on, they brought out the wrong ones. The seat was stained, they mentioned this and that there was another one on order for me. This past Sat., now remember this is only the second time other than Christmas Day that my kids have actually gotten to get on it, the weld on the rim of the front right tire failed completely while my 9 yr old daughter was driving it. Had they bothered to get the correct seatbelts that included the shoulder harness, she would not be sporting a nice bruised nose (could have been broken, but they were only in first gear), which came in contact with the steering wheel when the cart was forced into a sudden stop by loosing it's front right tire. I had help thank goodness and was able to load the cart to the back of the truck. I called the store they said sure bring it in we will fix it. During that time they failed to inform me that they had changed store hours, and would be closing at 4 instead of 5. I also noted that during the week they are closing at 6 now instead of 7. Upon getting there at 4:10, I found them closing. Now I wasn't asking them to stay late and fix it since they were closing early, just unload the thing into the shop and fix it when they open back up. They refused to do even this. Sadly I had to come home and unload the cart myself, on all 3 wheels, this is not a easy task. My two children, while very helpful, are both under the age of 10 and not strong enough yet to assist me. I have mention that the battery only worked the first day, and during the time the the cart was actually up and running I spent half of that time flagging kids down so that I could tighten bolts on the fenders, shocks, and even the cover on the drive chain.
